1. One book that changed your life.
"The House on Mango Street" by Sandra Cisneros. In the "about the author section" it reads, "She is nobody's wife, and nobody's mother."
"Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life" by Amy Krouse-Rosenthal
2. One book you've read more than once.
Almost every book I own I read more than once. I love curling up with a very familiar book when I'm having the mean reds.
3. One book you'd want on a desert island.
"How to survive on a Desert Island"
4. One book that made you laugh.
"Me Talk Pretty One Day" by David Sedaris. It has some classic, amazing, hysterically funny passages in it.
5. One book that made you cry.
"The Lovely Bones" by Alice Seybold. I thought I would never stop crying.
6. One book you wish you had written.
I still want to write a book about the phenomenon of celebrity-worship in our society.
7. One book you wish had never been written.
right now, my french textbook because it's mere existence is making me feel incredibly guilty.
8. One book you are currently reading.
All I read right now are textbooks. When I'm done with the semester, I want to unpack my books and dive into all the ones I bought earlier this year and never read.
9. One book you have been meaning to read.
