Rubbish Entry
I have been getting further and further behind in making journal entries. Work just doesn't finish, and I'm getting further behind with other stuff too. Either the rate of the passage of time is increasing or I am slowing down. I suppose it must be the latter. I feel very old, now I have passed my half century. I have a bad pain in one of the knuckle joints of my left hand: I suspect arthritis setting in. I felt it first on my 50th birthday. How poignant.
I am not going to attempt any kind of quality in my entries from now on. I will aim purely for quantity, writing whatever comes into my head. I got a comment the other day. I don't suppose my next month's worth of entries will get any - and that's the amount of catching up I have to do - as I plan to write them all in one evening, guaranteeing an absence of proper thought.
