(no subject)
+ so, anyone remember that Yesasia package that never came and they had to re-ship it? It... came, lol! 9 months later. The label got torn off so they couldn't read my address. I now have doubles and luckily my sister can take things off my hands, yay!.
+ So, in 'Anthropology of Japan' we were talking about gender as performance,and we watched this old documentary on Takarazuka, this theatre school for girls where girls play male roles alongside thier female counterparts and it basically creates this fantasy space with 'ideal' men for the audience, while indoctrinating the students with ideas of traditional femininity. So, they're at one of the practises and they're talking to the girl who's in line to be the next Top Star and I'm staring at her going 'woah, ok she's hot!' and I keep thinking i know her face. Hot damn it's Maya Miki - I have such an almighty crush on her guys, it is sort of ridiculous. This clip is one of her concerts; ajdkfgh - ever since her appearance on Cartoon KAT-TUN i've wanted to see her totally boy-ed out. The suit, the messy hair, the swagger, her voice - i'm going to stop now, it's getting embarassing.
(Did i ever mention my thing for crossdressng? this'll always be one of my fave shots of Yasu, lol. Honestly, i have no idea how i'd react to say, a boy i'm interested in dating wearing a skirt, but i'm intrigued by the idea. I especially love it when girls do it, so f'ing sexy.)
I swear, i'm done!
- I have an essay to write, and i have no idea what i'm talking about. Like, I thought the author of the article missed something in her work, and i re-read and boom it's right there. There goes my thesis. It's frustrating cuz it's 8 pages minimum,and i don't jave a novel idea at all. All I'm doing is agreeing with her (and i totally don't have enough source material and my head hurts, boo).
...45 minutes after starting this, i think i have an idea what to do yosh! It's just starting that's kicking my ass.
+ I'm in love with Ryo's Ordinary. The lyrics are simple, but sweet. It's rather ridiculous how much i've listened to it in the past 2 days.
