So - this is my first LJ post, so I guess I'll start with a little background history on my LJ experience.
I first discovered LJ through my Harry Potter fic obsession. I'd rabidly soak up fic, meta discussion, fanart... anything I could get. I lurked on painless_j, amanuensis1, and lddurham's journals.
Then I discovered Dong Bang Shin Ki (quite by accident, and through my HP obsession actually) and K-Pop. I fell in love all over again. LJ was the first place I turned for info, pics, and eventually fanfiction. After all, its hard being a thoroughly Western, English-speaking fan and finding a place to fulfill all your fangirly fantasies. So thanks dbsg and all the other communities I've joined in the days since i've gotten this account.
And thanks to nhaca_writes and bel_chan for making me feel welcome.
Next time: a return to fanfiction writing.
