Yoochun flicks his lighter back, holding the flame to the cigarette clenched between his teeth. He drags on the stick, pulling smoke into his lungs and holding it there before releasing it on a puff of warm breath.

“I thought you quit.” Yoochun looks at Jaejoong stretched out on his back, an arm flung over his closed eyes. He flicks the lighter closed and stashes it in his shirt pocket, taking another drag from the cigarette.

“I did.” He leans back on his elbows next to Jaejoong and blows smoke rings up at the pier they have camped out under. Jaejoong’s arm shifts and he slants a look at the cigarette dangling between Yoochun’s fingers but says nothing.

“It’s late,” he says instead, looking up at the dark sky peaking through the rotting boards above their heads. Yoochun makes a noise.

“Come here,” Jaejoong says, tugging lightly on his sleeve. Yoochun turns onto his stomach, an eyebrow raised. Jaejoong pulls him closer, catching his lips with his own. Yoochun’s breath hitches sweetly as Jaejoong slides his tongue into his mouth and deepens the kiss. He’s gone in a flash, leaning back into the sand beneath him. Yoochun glares at him, sullenly biting into the peppermint Jaejoong slipped slyly under his tongue.

“If manager hyung smells this on your breath, he’ll burst a blood vessel and I’ll be the one who has to clean the blood off the wall,” Jaejoong snatches the cigarette from Yoochun’s fingers and stares at it almost longingly for a moment before putting it out against the upright boards of the bridge.

Yoochun laughs. “How do you come up with these things?” he murmurs, before his lips set into a contrary pout at the loss of his cigarette. Jaejoong ignores him, sitting up and leaning against the bridge supports behind him. Yoochun lays his head in his lap, his fingers idly running along the inner seam of Jaejoong’s sweats, tracing a path along his leg just below his knee.

“Let’s not go home tonight,” he says softly, watching Jaejoong’s leg as it clenches beneath his fingers.

Jaejoong raises an eyebrow. “I’ve given up sleeping in subway stations, if that’s fine by you.”

“I just…” Yoochun begins, tracing music into the flesh of Jaejoong’s leg where his sweats have slipped up with his fingers, “I’d rather not face hordes of screaming girls outside our building tonight.”

Jaejoong looks carefully at Yoochun for a long moment. Suddenly, he shifts, spilling Yoochun from his lap and getting to his feet. Yoochun watches, confused, as he pulls out a cellphone and dials, speaking in rapid-fire sentences to the person on the other end.

Jaejoong turns back, extending a hand and pulling him to his feet. “Let’s go see what normal nineteen year olds do on a Friday night,” he says, his smile crinkling the corner of his eyes.

“We’re not normal nineteen year olds, Jae,” Yoochun answers. Jaejoong reaches into his bag, pulling out a black fedora and setting it on Yoochun’s head. Fingers on the brim, he pulls Yoochun closer stealing a small heated kiss.

“We can always pretend,” Jaejoong says, pulling Yoochun up the sloping hill to the road.

2 a.m. finds them, more than a little tipsy, leaning against an unlit streetlight in the alleyway behind their apartment. Jaejoong giggles, leaning against Yoochun for support.

“Night’s over,” he says, tilting his head back against Yoochun’s shoulder to glance at his face. “Let’s go in.”

Yoochun sighs, glaring slightly at Jaejoong as he intercepts a cigarette on the way to his lips and crushes it beneath his sneaker. “Yunho hyung’s going to kill us tomorrow.”

Jaejoong shrugs. “Let him,” he says, flashing Yoochun a brilliant smile as he climbs up their fire escape and slips through their window and back to their regular lives.

END.

Tonight:
If I had a weakness
You sure found it tonight
Some hidden desperation
You saw floatin' in my eyes
Moments just like these baby
Wrong can feel so right
And I don't wanna go home tonight
I've held it all together
As long as I can
There's pieces of me fallin'
Right into your hands
And don't the lies come easy baby
When the truth just ain't worth the fight
No I, I don't wanna go home tonight

Ending Credits: Whew! That took... remarkably long. Please blame Jae who was being rather a stubborn prick for a bit. I hope I at least managed to come near the prompt, not sure if I did though :\ And i do hope you are at least moderately pleased Tony^^.

dbsk, jaechun
