This is fun...
David's home from school for the third day straight with a really bad cough. We got drugs for him yesterday, so hopefully he'll start improving soon. I didn't want to give him anti-biotics yet again, and risk him becoming resistant, so we went with a steroid to help with inflamation in his lungs. Fortunately, he likes the taste. It's really, really hard to get him to take medications, though I think we're turning a corner on that one. He doesn't care for the cough medicine, but he's drinking it anyway. That's a big step forward for him. Needless to say, that's eaten a lot of my attention.
Dreamation coming up next week, for those of you in the area and interested. The schedule's posted at www.dexposure.com/d2007.html. Hopefully David will be significantly better by then, since the alternative is Dennis or I stay home with him. Obviously, making sure the coughing doesn't turn into something worse is the priority. He's had pneumonia before. :-/
