Welcome to helterrskelter!, a place where all your accessory needs will be fulfilled until YOU GO BROKE! (kidding)
helterrskelter! was derived from the oft-heard phrase, helter skelter, which means to run around in a haphazard fashion. A strange name, you might think. However, helterrskelter! is all about having your imagination (and mine too!) run wild, and hopefully inspired, by my humble creations. Click away!
Charms and beads are imported from USA, Italy, London, Thailand, Japan, and Chinatown (which is in Singapore, not China!!). :)
helterrskelter! also offers customisations. The pieces are handcrafted by me, and most of them are one-off due to the vintage nature of the charms and materials used. All these pieces are injected with my personal blend of kitsch, fun, quirkiness and the occasional touch of vintage glam.

Costs: $1 for normal mail, additional $2 for registered mail. I will not be held liable for any mails that go missing.

3) Concealed cash or Traveller's cheques are also welcome. However, I will not be held liable if they get lost in the mail on the way to Sunny Singapore! Also, I will only ship the item out upon receipt of payment.

1) Prices are only negotiable under three conditions:
- My avatar is up on your blog/LJ/MySpace.
- You are making multiple purchases, where I will give you a combined quote.
- You are a regular customer (this is up to my own discretion).
2) Blog avatar discounts are only applicable to the price of the item alone. Shipping and handling costs will not be waived in any way.
3) Please make payment within three days upon confirmation of your purchase, or else I will forfeit the item. If you are unable to make payment for any valid reason, please notify me as soon as possible, so I can release the item for sale again. Buyers who back out without a valid reason or notification will be blacklisted forever and I will not entertain future transactions. Sigh, I'm generally nice, so don't make me enforce this. I hate chasing after people and asking if they still want something. Please comment only if you are sincere about getting the piece.
4) I will not be held liable for items that are lost through Singpost. Conversely, I will not be held liable for items that are damaged during transit. However, rest assured that I go to extra lengths to ensure that my parcels are well-packed and properly shipped out.
5) Items sold will not be refunded.
6) Care instructions: Avoid contact with liquids, chemicals, makeup, and sprays. I'm still on the lookout for chains that don't rust and don't cost a bomb! The chains I use are the same kinds used by anyone else (ie. purchased at bead shops), and they might be prone to tarnishing if exposed to the abovementioned elements. This does not mean, however, that they are inferior materials. Even established brands like Tiffany & Co. are highly prone to tarnishing, so do take note that this is the nature of most gold/silver jewellery.
7) Please note that a bulk of the things I work with are vintage. This means that some of them date all the way back to the 50's (but currently they are largely from the 70's). So please make room for little tarnishes or discolourations on the materials that might come with age. However, rest assured that they are wearable and presentable (and gorgeous when combined with the right stuff). I won't sell junkyard leftovers or anything to that effect. ;) I pick these materials only because I feel that they have character in their aged state. However, you might not feel the same way so please take note.
8) I offer customisations, but I impose a 50% deposit of your stipulated budget before I begin work. This is to protect the designer's (me!) interests, and to ensure that the buyer has incentive not to back out.
9) Affiliates do not apply for the 10% discount. The discount only applies if you do not have an avatar for me to place on my site.
10) All comments containing your personal contact details are screened, and only visible to me. This is done to protect your privacy!
11) Don't ask me when I get my materials from.
