It looks like the club right down the street from my apartment holds a freebuy Texas Hold'em tournament every thursday night. As annoyed as I am that Hold'em has pushed every other game out of the world of poker, I might have to check this out next week.
It's a freebuy, with maybe a $50 gift certificate as the prize or something, but I stopped by tonight to check out the final 5, and I really don't see myself having much trouble. Definitely going on my schedule for next week.
