I am ever so very behind but I have just watched the musical crossover episode of The Flash and I have to burble a little.
Jesse L Martin should just sing everything. All the time. I don't care if there's a plot point or not.
Maybe it's the part of me that grew up looking at Fame but I loved this. Totally cheesy and Lord knows I have my many issues with Mon-El and Kara but I loved how the whole thing resolved itself. Seeing Iris as Millie was a riot. "Super Friends" was pure fun and "Running Home to You" got me in the feels.
I would absolutely be down for a whole spin off where Darren across jumped through time and space making people realise what was wrong with their lives through the power of song. It'd be like Fame meets Quantum Leap meets Cupid and it would be awesome.
