Brad Paisley is coming to London but not to Ireland. So near and yet so far, universe you disappoint me so.
Had proof today that honesty pays...the Gods of eBay smiled on me a few weeks ago and ended my three month search for HelsinkiMammy's broken Lladro ballerina. They mailed me a couple of days after the order went through and told me they had a problem, turns out they quoted me postage for royal mail flat pack which this was not, they had to courier it over, which would be twenty euros instead of the quoted five. My unconsidered response was, "Whatever it costs, bill me for it!" because the damn thing had to be replaced and since Dad and Abigail conspired to break it, he was picking up the tab. Turns out the only payment that went through was the original one, they never charged me for the courier. I mailed them about it last night and got an email back praising my honesty, that they'd forgotten all about it and now I could too...the extra was on them! Which I thought was really nice of them...I mean, to get the thing (they retire the figurines every so often, the one that got broken could not be got anywhere and trust me I checked. A lot!) I'd have paid more than i did! Well, than Dad did but he agreed!
