Today I felt in love.
It was very exciting. And I'm not talking about that kind of love you feel with your mate. Today two amazing guys came to the University (where I'm working ) and they made a conference about the differences between Japanese society and Colombia society.
One of the guys was Yokoi Kenji a half Colombian Half Japanese who work in Colombia doing some social work around the country, teaching about his experience living in Japan, the differences between us and how can we find a better society without war and violence.
It was very touching, specially because as you know I went to Taiwan for 1 and a half year and I almost felt the same way. Taiwanese culture and Japanese culture are different of course but they're similar in many aspects specially in the discipline. People is so disciplined and and hardworking. I really admired them a lot because not everybody can work so hard and never complain. I think the religion and the tradition helped a lot, those people believe they must work hard because they need to honor their ancestors and also because some of them believe in reincarnation, so they must be correct and good now for the next life.
The second guy who came to the university was a half Brazilian half Japanese named Claiton Uehara who is a musician, he played his songs with a guitar and all the auditory felt the sweet and nice vibrations of his message. Wonderful lyrics I think. My heart jumps out of my chest.
This is the song he played:
