1. I have been listening to Kid A, the song, in indescribable proportions to the rest of my listenings for the past couple of days. Why?
2. We are leaving early morning on the first stage of Christmas World Tour 2K6. Stage one: drive to the mountains of Georgia!
3. It is sort of terrifying to think about how, in less than a month, I'll be back in school, but this terror is lessened by the surprise! scholarship! letter I got in the mail day before yesterday. I know, right???
4. Girl, I got so much shit to do before we leave town.
5. maribouquet and I are having an online book club for Special Topics in Calamity Physics, by Marisha Pessl, which is an amazing book and I'm only 60 pages in, but what I really must talk about is Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson. Has anyone read this book because I must must discuss it with SOMEONE.
6. jascott is snowed in. Ha ha ha.
7. 22 days until the glorious moment: buffyx's, missdeviant's, and my planes all land in Denver (which had BETTER not be under 4 feet of snow!) within 25 minutes of each other, because we are a well-oiled machine, and we go to jascott's house and do not leave for three days.

10. I misheard, or, my synapses weren't correctly firing when I heard a Solstice-themed(ish) song introduced on the radio this morning, and "Judy Collins Winter Solstice" has v. v. different meaning from "Judy Garland Winter Solstice." Hahahahaha, Judy Garland Winter Solstice.
