my new thing right now isflobots. pretty rad. i was listening to ktru this morning, because i was getting sick of the usual bullshit on the radio. honestly, every day this week during work ive been jamming ktru for no real reason at all. just to jam i guess. i honestly think 93 percent of the time that station isnt very good, the djs are slow to the cut, and the music is almost always trying to hard. its the idea of sacrificing talent and heart just so you can be original and different. all you get is daughters. but im digging on flobots, i can say that much. theres something about indie hip hop that has always grabbed me, but then throw violins and horns in the mix.
next week is going to be the best week of 2008, i can already tell. im excited. monday papermoons at boondocks, tuesday is the nada surf drop, thursday kdev at walters, friday road trip for kevin in austin, and then rad hang out sessions with good old friends in austin and san marcos. i am telling you, 2008 can just end after next week, it will have been fulfilled for me quite honestly
