Warning: None
Effects: Feel the derp...other than that, nothing.

A normal day in The World. The music was just the way he remembered it being, and he grinned as he and Gaspard started racing by the docks, trying to get to their destination.

That is, until Gaspard was on a one way path with another player.

Before Silabus could say anything, the two had collided and he winced, coming to a stop. Gaspard was laying on his back, unable to get up, and the view shifts as Silabus leans down to look over at his friend.

“Gaspard, are you okay?”

The other Player moaned as Silabus helped him into a sitting position, and Gaspard shook his head. “What happened…?”

For the first time, Silabus turned to the person that Gaspard had collided into. It was someone he’d never seen before - a boy with a grumpy expression. Maybe a noob to The World?

“Are you okay?” He asked, concerned.

“Uh, yeah.” Was the response.

Well, that wasn’t the end of the questions for Silabus. “Are you a new player?” He asked, putting his hands on his hips as he looked curiously at Haseo.

“You’re a noob?” Gaspard echoed, looking a little surprised, as if looking at Haseo for the first time. “Oh, hey…I’m sorry. I guess I must have scared you, huh?”

Haseo looked even more disgruntled at being called a noob. “Hell, no! I’m not a noob! I’m the Terror of Death.”

“Terror…of what?”

“What? Wait, are you talking about the famous PKK, Haseo?” At least Silabus knew what Haseo was referencing - even if Gaspard didn’t.

“Oh, you’re a player-killer-killer!” Now Gaspard sounded interested as he leaned forward. “I knew I’d heard about him somewhere before. But I’m pretty sure the Player’s name was Haseyo.”

“…Are you sure?” Silabus didn’t sound entirely convinced.

“Definitely, yup!” Gaspard put his hands on his hips proudly, as if he knew exactly what he was talking about.

Haseo’s mood didn’t seem to be lessening up at all. He put a hand on his head, frowning before he spoke up again. “Hey, look. It’s me. I am the real PKK Haseo!”

Silence.

Gaspard broke the silence finally with a fit of laughter, and Silabus couldn’t help but let out a chuckle as well. “I’m sorry, but you’ll have to gain more levels before you can say anything like that.”

“W-What? Hey!”

“If you’re a noob, we’d be happy to teach you the basics of this game.” Silabus continued, as if Haseo hadn’t said anything at all.

“Actually-“ Gaspard broke in, “Silabus and I are part of the noob support guild called Canard!”

“Noob-support guild?”

Well, at least Haseo seemed interested! (Or something like that.) “It’s a guild that teaches noobs all they need to know to become top players.”

“We’re actually pretty famous, you know.” Gaspard said proudly, once again.

“Oh, yeah! I need to give you our member addresses first. Here.” Before Haseo could say anything, Silabus had pulled up the menu to give it to him. That was when Gaspard started launching into a lecture into the basics of The World, while Silabus continued to watch Haseo. It didn’t seem like the boy was listening, though when Gaspard asked he said he was.

Well whatever the case, this Haseo guy seemed pretty cool to him! Even though he had that strange roleplaying bit going on…

Haha, Terror of death-

[Silabus shifted a little as he started to wake up, and he glanced over at the Dreamberry. When he noticed it was on, he picked it up and grinned.]

Oh, so it finally happened to me too, huh?

[Maybe one of the very few people that doesn’t mind their dreams being broadcast over the network…he cuts off the feed the next moment, though - wanting to go back to bed.]
