Is it any wonder that the Space Shuttle program is being canceled when NASA can't spell the names of the Shuttles?

To be fair, the common noun is spelled 'endeavor'. However, the Shuttle uses the archaic spelling born by it's namesake, the HMB Endeavour, which was the famous mid-18th century ship used by the Pacific Ocean expedition that "discovered" Australia in 1770.

space, special defects, nasa, random, wtf
