I've been running searches through Career Builder for the last hour or so looking for a job that won't drive me insane. There's a lot of data entry stuff available which I could own b/c I type like like 70-90wpm, but nothing meets the specifications that I need. Granted what I need is pretty picky, but if I jump in feet first with all of my depression and social anxiety I'm going to break my frickin legs. So to speak.
However, I just came across a business card in my wallet that I got at that wedding last month. I got to talking with my "other mom's" brother who used to work in radio for many years. (For those of you who don't know my career, which is on hold, is in the music industry.) So I was thinking of giving him a call this week. The interesting thing is the guy's current job is as the communications officer for the county coroners office. In a morbid way I'm kind of interested in seeing if he could get me a job there while I get my life in order and finish my bachelor's, take the LSAT, etc. I mean, after all, corpses can't trigger social anxiety. :)
