Jim is undeniably the person she is closest to in The City. They hit it off immediately and she's never had a second thought about their friendship. Olivia can tease the hell out of him, laugh, and just be happy when she's with Jim. He fills the hole that was occupied by her friends at home. He's the only one she feels guilty about not telling the whole truth to, even though she continues to do so anyways. She'd do almost anything if he asks her for help.

Eames is incredibly interesting to Olivia. Unlike most people on the comms, he's only ever shown up in text and is very secretive. It's almost like a challenge calling out to her and she can't leave it alone. Even though he's alluded to not having the straightest occupation she hasn't dropped their friendship. And she does see them as friends since she enjoys their conversations so much. She'd like to meet him in person one day and is determined to accomplish that.

Zatanna is Olivia's only close female friend and that makes her important. Even back home Olivia was surrounded mostly by men and didn't have an opportunity to be as close to other women, so she values having Zatanna as a friend. Plus they have fun whenever they do things and that's always a plus. Since Zatanna is sort of a breath of fresh air, Olivia would do quite a lot to help Zatanna out.

At first he only interested her because he was one of Jim's friends, but once she started talking to him it turned into genuine interest. Spock reminds her a bit of someone back home and she's pegged him as a great teasing target. Plus he's just so different than the people around her that she can't help but want to learn more about him.

Arthur was the first one to give her important information on her arrival in The City and it shaped how she went about settling in. She remembers him as someone with a sharp head on their shoulders and a useful person- also a cautious person. While she wouldn't go as far as to call them friends yet, she would like to talk to him more and learn more about him since she thinks that he's interesting.

When she stops to think about it, Olivia wonders why she keeps talking to Cross. There's nothing off the bat that would interest her: he's lazy, he drinks, and can come across as harsh sometimes. But at the same time she's still talking to him so there's clearly some sort of interest in him and she wants to figure out what that is. She wouldn't label him as a friend but he's certainly far from a person she dislikes.
