We're all a little bit crazy inside.
I believe I basically disappeared these past few days. Wooh! Go me! XD
So what have I been up to? Hm. Let's see.
GRADES.
Oh yeah. Midterms. XD
Bio lecture- A. Actually, in Ms. Dorados words: Sayang walang A+ ang St. Scho. See, I got a 110 on my Bio Lecture midterms. So totally Hermione-ish. XD XD XD
PE, Psych, Theology- A-. Which is 90-95. ^_^
Euthenics & NSTP- Passed. So far.
Grades for Comm Arts and Bio Lab haven't been given out yet, so there.
I may have a mild case of Seasonal Affective Disorder. It was on the news the other day. It has something to do with the body's lack of melatonin because there is no sun when it rains, and sunlight activates melatonin. Yeah. It'd be cool to have a disorder. ^_^
While I was waiting for a ride home last Wednesday, I was observing this group of girls who were playing luksong-tinik. They were Grade 2 girls, wearing filipiniana costumes, and they were pretty engrossed in the game.
Then there was this one really healthy girl who wanted to play, and moved closer to them (she was friends with three of the girls who were playing). However, there were two girls who didn't want to and one of them even said "Umalis ka nga diyan! And taba taba mo naman!"
I swear, I got so angry. I didn't say anything, of course, but little kids discriminating others because of their size is disgusting. Those racists didn't even apologize. Hazeline (the fat girl) was being consoled by her friends who decided to play a game by themselves and not include those two racists.
Goodness. I really hope that that is not an indication of what those two girls will grow up to be. It's sickening. I remember a time when I was a grade-school girl, and I was also excluded from stuff. It's sad that times don't change, and despite some people's best efforts, ayun. That happens.
