I must post the Donation Confirmation just after the person who won confirms the donation, right?

if you consider your offer thread closed for the rest of the auction, then yes, please post the donation confirmation as soon as you can here. if you are leaving it open for multiple winners, then please wait until you consider your thread closed or until the end of auction to make a consolidated donation confirmation post here. :)

I'd like to leave it open but I don't think I'll recieve any more bids... Should I close the thread then? If so, how should I proceed?

whether it is open or closed is up to you. :) if you will be closing the thread, please comment in your thread with a clear statement, such as "This offer thread is closed. Bids will no longer be accepted." then please ensure that you make a donation confirmation post ASAP, including a note that says your offer thread is closed for the rest of the auction period. :)
