Acen was disappointing. Friday night was a bunch of drunken stupidity and I apparently did a bunch of things that I would rather have not done, but it doesn't really matter since I don't remember any of it. Saturday was a whole lot of nothing until the dance started which had some crap DJs and way too many people. I'm not alone with my opinion that the con felt like a big waste of time.
I think I'm going to actually try my best to have money to spare when Anime Reactor swings around. I want to start going to con events again. I do like anime and I'm getting pretty tired of the whole "go to a con with no money and aim for nothing but to get drunk and party" thing. There's plenty of time to go to con events AND party. It's feeling too urgent and forced. Cross-dressing is also getting pretty old.
On the plus side, everyone was at this con and I did see a ton of friends that I haven't seen in a long time. Jen also said I look a lot better than I did three years ago, haha. I can only hope.
