**UPDATE** 6pm on Mon 8th July: Bidding is now closed!
Thank you so much to everyone who offered something, and those who bid on them, you're all fantastic!
Next steps:
Authors: please contact your winning bidder to confirm that your offer still stands. It should be fairly clear from your thread who this is, but drop me a line if you're unsure about anything. You might want to ask for proof of donation from your winning bidder before you start work, but it's up to you whether you choose to do so.
Bidders: please wait to hear from the person you've won before making your bid, just in case extenuating circumstances mean that they can no longer deliver what they've originally signed up to do. Once you've had confirmation from them then please make your donation - links are on this page
here. If you don't hear from the person you've won and have tried unsuccessfully to contact them then please do let me know.
Comments on these posts are now frozen, so all communication between offerers and bidders will need to be through PM or email.
Thanks once again to everyone who participated, I'm really delighted we managed to raise some money for the appeal.
BIDDING IS NOW OPEN!
It will remain open until 6pm (UK time) on Monday 8th July. Please reply to the relevant offer comment below to make your bid.
This is the sign-up post for fanfic offers (please ensure you’ve read the
‘How it Works’ post before signing up to this).
If you’re prepared to offer a work or works for more than one fandom then please do one of the following:
(a) if you are willing to produce separate works for the different fandoms, please make a separate entry for each bidding thread (e.g., if I were to offer a work in Sherlock fandom and one in Supernatural fandom then I would have one thread for Sherlock and one for Supernatural).
(b) if you are offering one work but with a choice of possible fandoms, please make a single entry for all bids (e.g., if you’re willing to offer either a work in Sherlock fandom or one in Supernatural, please keep to a single bidding thread).
In the subject line, please put your LJ username and fandom(s) you’re writing in. In the body of the comment, please copy-paste the text in the box below and fill in your information:
LJ username:Contact (PM or email): Fandom(s): Pairing(s): My work can be found at: Won't write: (non-con, violence, etc)
Word limit (if any): Minimum bid (if any): Additional notes: (anything else you feel is important)
Please leave all questions on the
