I am offering: One original song, probably of three to five minutes in length, about absolutely anything you want, and in pretty much any style. You'll own complete rights to the song, both writer's rights (melody and lyrics) and mechanical/reproduction rights (the recording, for example if you wanted to use it in a fanvid).
Fandoms (if appropriate): I'm happy to write about anything. I'm well-versed in Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr. Who/Torchwood, Dungeons & Dragons, Firefly, Harry Potter, and maybe a few others. Obviously there are many fandoms that I'm not familiar with, especially in anime, so you'll probably have to work with me to create the song you want.
Additional Info: I'm a semi-professional working musician, mostly as a guitar player. The link above is to my page on FAWM, February Album Writing Month, a challenge where you write fourteen songs in February. I chose this link to show the range of styles I can write in (though that's not all!) and because it has some good geeky songs in it (check out "1813," "Beaton and Broken," and "My Blue-Eyed Baby"). Because FAWM puts an emphasis on speed, there are many little mistakes and problems in those recordings. Your song will be held to a higher standard both in performance and mixing.

Just checking to see if I did in fact win your offer and if so, if you could respond with the form at this thread: http://community.livejournal.com/help_japan/6802.html, to help me stay organized that would be great.
