We live in the 'burbs! What do you know about gardening?
We moved to Amstelveen a couple of months ago. It's suburbia just outside of Amsterdam. It's a beautiful house with a front and back garden and I love it here. Unfortunately, the gardens are in a bit of a mess, because I'm not sure which are all weeds. There are a bunch of beautiful flowers growing, which the last owner planted, but some of the "pretty flowers" are also apparently weeds. Not that I mind so much, unless they are choking the other flowers and keeping them from growing. But it is getting kind of messy. Well, full, anyway.
I've also planted some veg and fruit. Some of these are growing nicely, especially the pumpkin and carrots. But they are all in pots right now, because I haven't figured out yet what I want to pull up from the ground and what I want to keep. I mean, this garden is FULL. No room to add anything, so some things will have to go. And there are also lots of trees. They are very pretty, but offer no fruit or flowers, so I don't want all of them there.
Hm, what do do with my new garden that someone else created?
