It's been so freaking long since I've posted here. Again.
Irony. I had a job in the kitchen at the Hard Rock cafe. Loved it. Loved the people. Hard work when it's busy, lots of sweating and moving around, going crazy. The only downside was I had to take two trams to get there. Not too bad, but annoying. Also, a little scary standing around waiting by yourself for the tram when you work late. So, I got a scooter. My first day using the damn thing I hit a wet tram line and dropped it. Hard. On my leg. Well, cutting to the end of the story, they were pressuring me to come back to work before I could even really walk well. They were being jerks about it. So, I quit.
Now, I'm just waiting for my leg to get better and then start looking for something else. I'm still thinking hard about trying to get my own business going here, which would be my dream. It's just much easier said than done.
Jasper is doing great and so are the kittens. The weather has been really nice and I've since started getting back on the scooter to just not be afraid of it. But I'm always so scared of going over tram lines, which is pretty unavoidable in the city. But, as long as it's dry, I have nothing to fear. Or, if it's wet, to make sure I go very slow.
This is a picture similar to the one I have.
