GAARRRR!!!
It is so frustrating to be happily typing along, get something going, and then, one tiny little slip of the fingers and it's irretrievably gone. Grr.
Well, what I was trying to say was that Jasper and I are getting a kitty this weekend. We're going to a kitty boat:

These are the kitties we'll be looking at. A few days ago, Jasper found a perfect male kitty that was very affectionate. He liked to wrap his paws around your neck. By the time Jasper saw it and called, several others had already called. He was gone before he had a chance to warm his bed. Ah, well. I hope he has a happy home.
Last night, we got some toys, kitty litter/box, a fur-lined bed, a scratch post with a bed and stand, and a carrier. We are waiting to see what age cat we get before getting the food. Still racking my brains to make sure I didn't forget to buy anything, though. I am so excited. I haven't been really ready for a cat since I lost Heloise, but I'm ready now.
