[As a general rule of thumb, you don't prepare to battle your Predictology teacher after she proves to be the best teacher ever, and wake up in some strange house on a daily basis

[Eiki was trying to find the drone child, as she felt better when she could account for them, the husband was off doing whatever he did when he left, but the child should have been around. What she does find instead is Anna in the dining room, with what looked to be a knife. It was easy to assume the situation, Anna no doubt was a new arrival, just like she had been not a few weeks prior.]
Excuse me. [Her tone was gentle, she didn't want to startle the girl.] I'm sure you're confused, and have a lot of questions right now.
[Confused is probably somewhat of an understatement.
A big understatement.
At the sound of someone's voice, Anna will spin around to face Eiki, on her guard.]
--Yes, that would be correct. Where have I been taken, and for what purpose? This is a very elaborate kidnapping plot, I must admit, but I will state that I will not be held captive so easily, even without my katana.
[She sits down in the one across. She folds her hands together and places them on the table.]
This is a town called Mayfield, whoever is in control takes people from their world, strips them of abilities, items, and any unique markings, and then assigns them to a house. So far, I know not how to leave, but it seems that items and abilities are periodically given back, but I'm not sure what the criteria for regaining them is yet. Now, those taken here are not the only ones in the town, there are others called "drones" and... well, I'm not quite sure what they are. They seem to be soulless humans, but I have been informed that those of us kidnapped can be turned into them for periods of time. So, there is a chance they may have been like us at some point.
I can't say, it's rather perplexing. By all definitions they shouldn't be able to do such things, yet, they do. As for the house, I'm sure you noticed the pictures. They section off people into families, a mother, a father, and two or three children, the default is two. When there isn't a person to fill a role, they use a drone instead. Currently, this house now has one drone, and three people, including yourself and I.
They could be, but they could be something else, though the ability to turn us into them is still there. I have only been here for a few weeks, so I can't really offer you many details. I'm sorry.
Y-Yes, it is highly fortunate, indeed. I would not wish to hurt innocent parties, after all.
The sooner would be all the better, naturally, but I imagine this will not be the case. Either way, the sooner my belongings can be returned to me, the better I can face what may lie ahead in the future.

Eiki-san, you haven't seen anyone here that would be from Al-Revis Academy, correct?
Not that I'm aware of no, but there are a few hundred people here, and I have yet to meet them all. There is a telephone though, that connects to the other houses. I would recommend asking on there, and perhaps those who know you will respond.
The easiest way is to show you, and normally you dial a number and it connects you to another one, but the ones here seem to work by being connected to all the others.

Would you like to sit down first? I am more than willing to explain what I know so far.

So, tell me, then. What do you know, and how can I get back to where I came from?

... I see. These "drones" are a possibility as to what we could become, as well as potentially formerly people like us? How troubling.

... Understandable. If we are to be living together, then, then introductions are in order. My name is Anna Lemouri.

It's a pleasure Anna, my name is Shiki Eiki, Yamazanadu.

It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance as well, though the circumstances could certainly be better.

Though they are unfavorable, we have to make due. I'm sure they can be changed though, with time.
