Day 04 - Your favorite bookOK, this one is easy. Anne McCaffrey's DragonFlight. In 7th grade I found this book in the fiction room at Fred Moore Junior High School. (You can tell this was a while ago because I went to a "Junior High" and not a "Middle School".) I don't even know how many times I checked it out and reread it during my 3 years there

I think I have a copy (some 1st edition, some signed) of every book she ever wrote. Turns out although Dragonsinger was my first and favorite of Pern, I much prefer her Freedom series. (I'm actually in one of them) We become online friends and then chatted at various Dragon*Cons. She knows who I am, which is saying a lot for an author of her caliber. Great lady.
