Ok, so I've got this cold. Y'all know that by now. While picking up a prescription for hellbob yesterday I remembered to pick up some NyQuil and DayQuil cough syrup, as we were out of both.

As i was looking at the NyQuil bottles I noticed that they had this on the label:

Some of this isn't legislation, it's company policy. Like Target for example: it's company policy to put the stuff behind the counter.

But Minnesota (and a lot of other states, I guess) put all pseudoephedrine items under tight control. Now they have to be behind the counter, limited as to how much you can buy, and you have to fill out their lovely little form to be allowed to purchase it.

Yeah but target is doing something different. Not sure exactly what they did differently, but it was different. I believe they started their new guidelines before any law come into effect.

But hey, it could be worse. We could live in, i think it was oregon, and have to go to the doctor first before getting drugs like Nyquil, sutafed, etc. I believe you need a perscription in that state.

Liquid PSE is still a grey area. Walgreens didn't have it behind the counter, the didn't write down my info, but they did limit it to two bottles.

LOL. The edit wasn't aimed at anyones comments. It was just to inform because I didn't know the specifics until I hunted them down either.
