I'm awake, I'm at work (early, even).
I really think this is all that should be expected of me on a Monday!

frozendragon came home last night with a package for me from theseamster! It was my Angel DVDs that he had borrowed, but more importantly, it also had some homemade muffins!!! Thanks E, they were yummy!! :)

hellbob decided to sleep with the window open last night & the ( Read more... )

Because it's been cool and crisp, and that's good weather to let it. Why you would want to let in all the hot, humid air during the summer, I can't understand.

But you didn't even open it during the nice cool thunderstormy summer nights! :)

Because they weren't cool, it was storming but 80 degrees. Believe me, I'm the first one to open the windows when it's worth it.

Windows ... open? *blinks* ... I thought you kept the plastic up all year round cause it helped keep in the cool air in the summer and the warm air in the winter - and the times in between were so short that it wasn't worth it to take it off ...

I should come by and visit ... When is your next movie night? I'd love to come if you'd have me - I miss you and hellbob and gabe and lump :(

Buddy has started doing Gabe things ... he falls onto the ground on his side and slides on the carpet making funny noises .. it's quite cute :)

There are a few windows that aren't hermetically sealed... Not many though! :)

That's the plan. There are a couple open for just such occasions as the last couple of nights when it's actually worth opening up. It's just such a pain to put the plastic up (even though hellziggy doesn't believe it that I'd rather leave it up since we're addicted to AC.

Early on a Monday? Wow. I got decent sleep last night and I still waited till the last possible moment to get up. You should just sit there all smug in your cublice and tell people "Sorry!I got here early today. Ask someone else!"

Unfortunately for me, early means only 3 or 4 minutes. Which is a big accomplishment in my ADD time adled world. :)
Traffic didn't suck! I just shifted my schedule 1/2 hour earlier starting this week because the 8:00 traffic was unbearable. It's amazing the difference 1/2 hour can make in rush hour traffic. I only need to leave the house 15-20 earlier, which means that I don't even need to wake up earlier!
