I love the "family" together, it's so much fun. That's... pretty much what happened. They pumped him full of sedatives, he took a ten minute nap, they bashed him on the back of the head, he called them "fuckin' cowards", so they cut his throat and broke his neck in frustration and found that... worked.

As soon as I read the part about the head moving around on it's own I couldn't help but think that back to his body would be the last place he'd go. He's right next to the ground: perfect vantage point to look up ladies skirts.
