ESTONIA! \;A;/♥♥ And hey, you actually remembered Sealand again...

*snigger* Ooh, I see I gave you an idea there. 8D

"Salty liquorice is popular in the Nordic countries, as well as Northern Germany, the Netherlands and the Baltic states. The following are the names used for this snack in various countries" -Wikipedia
^I think Estonia does like it too. xD Although fair enough, I don't think anyone likes it like Finland does... Y-yeah, I guess it is an acquired taste. (lol, you should try it again and see if you'll actually learn to like it! 0:D) And btw, it's liquorice, not liquorish. orz;; (There I go again....)

*brb loving the second scene, especially the bit about France's "worried-but-pretending-not-to-be faces"* Oh France, I keep saying you're really a tsundere too, especially when it comes to England... And baww, poor England during Blitz. ._.

A long moment of quiet ensued, before Sarah pinched the bridge of her nose in a stressed manner and sighed. "Has he always been like this?"

"Since birth." France confirmed. Indeed. xD ( ... )

L-lol there's too many characters in this thing...

Yes, you did indeed give me an idea there <3

Aha, yeah I guess so, but I thought it would be a little more comedic if Finland kept giving him these sweets that he didn't really like very much. XD A-and I'll politely decline on trying them again... orz

France pretends he's above it all, but he's nooooot, he's as bad as the rest of them. And bawww Blitz!England. It's like in that flashback all those chapters ago...

Ahh, glad you got home safely! I hope you had a good time!

I had fun too! We'll probably never get to do it again, but it was great while it lasted. <3

You know you called England the youngest of the British isles siblings a while back? xD;

Haha, it's kinda true, actually. It's like our own inside joke to give salmiakki to all the foreigners and then watch them squirm. And then eat like a whole packet of them in front of their horrified faces. The one I gave you isn't even the strongest tasting kind but if I gave you one of the stronger ones your taste buds would have taken a day off, I think... Although I do love the strong ones best myself. x) (I love these. I love how they're PINK and so they make you think they'll taste like a fruit or berry candy but no, it's a strong salty salmiakki drop. Okay, the fact that it's called "Dracula" might tip you off. I kinda think it's called that because if you eat too many of them it tends to tear your tongue open and then you'll just taste blood in your mouth for the rest of the day. The brown ones are great too. They at least look like salmiakki. xD Oh and my absolute favourite: Just a hint, the flames are there for a reason.I know right ( ... )

I'm just repeating myself now.

I have just sat throu two days straight of reading this fic. I really like it! I may retrun with a more understandeble comment, writen in better english, when I am not in fanfiction coma anymore...
This is one of the first serious and long Hetalia fanfiction I have read, and I really enjoy the mix of real politics and ficton I cans see in this one.
One quistion keeps bugging me, I can understand the motivation for the character of Russia wanting the war, but why would the russian people want it? Maybe that kind of you shall not think to hard about while reading hetalia fanfiction?
Aaaah, all me english skills left me, sorry if i made no sense at all...

T-two days, wow, this thing is long isn't it... Haha fanfiction coma, I totally understand.

The motivation for Russia as a country is kind of something I handwaved as a political shift. I'm not proud of it; it's one of the weaker points of this story, but yeah.

You make sense, don't worry!

Oh, and about the Salmiakki, there is something much worse made of tar that is eaten in Sweden and Finland. My brothers loves it... Salmiakki is just the meek little brother of the tar candy. Terva Leijona it is called in Finland.

Hey! Tar candy is gooooood! And it's way sweeter than salmiakki. Hm, maybe I should have brought Pidge some of that too...

Seriously, Pidge, I know you might not trust my taste after the salmiakki but tar candy is honestly not as bad. xD The taste is way milder and sweeter. It kinda tastes fresh too and it makes your breath smell fresh, which is weird, considering what it's made of...

We have tar ice cream too, btw. It tastes kinda strange but it's good. xD

Oh god salmiakki. One of my friends gave that to me and... um... well, I couldn't get rid of the taste for three hours. Ack.

I really liked the character interaction in this one. Oh, France. <3 <3 <3 Filler is nice, but I wanna see the plot moving again (it's not like we didn't get enough action in the last few chapters... orz shut up self stop demanding weird things).

I was lucky enough to have a coke on hand, but even then it kind of lingered....

Character interaction is like what I live for. XD orz I know but I'm trying to give it a sense of time passing, because if people just suddenly turn up places... yeah.
