I wrote this (yes, yet another shitty) poem when I had a bunch of things swirling around in my head and I didn't know what to do with them. I decided to jot a bunch of things down in this screenplay idea I had devised a year or two ago. Seeing as how my first screenplay went (ha ha) I doubt I will ever get around to getting it the way I want or finished at this point. But I just like to know that there are places to sort all the little ideas I have, hoping one day they will grow into complete and finished entities.
Wish I'd finished a short story. Have realized that very few are fiction anymore, most are based on reality. That doesn't really help me much, no one would want to read about my life.
Oh well, back to making jokes at the four and five year olds expense.

Non-fiction and Alternate Reality
A mixture of fiction and reality
Both so vivid in one mind
Coexisting
Surely it’s not a surprise that they should occasionally mix?
And should you get upset if they do?
Is it cheating to borrow a little fiction from your reality?
Are you a cheat to borrow some reality from your fiction?
I say no, if you’re concocting something new.
It won’t be purely fiction and it won’t be purely reality.
It’ll have the taste of something different while not maintaining a lie.
Perhaps it’s just the easy way out.
It doesn’t take complete truth or imagination.
But it does conjure up something unique- a blurred line between fiction and reality.
