Does anyone know if this place has any punching bags? Shadow boxing can only take a guy so far and I really don't want to start punching walls.

I wouldn't have offered if I wasn't. Don't want to get rusty.

[ Of course, Zachariah comes from a hardier world than Eames, but the British man did used to be part of the SAS. ]

[Someone's excited. He used to spare with Iriel quite a bit so he's starting to feel a little restless.]

[ Eames is somewhat excited as well. Easy to get a measure of a man based on the way he fights. ]

[He needs to find something to wrap around his hands.]

[ Can you blame him? ]

Take all the time you need. Do you want to use the stables or somewhere else?

[ There's lots of clothes. Eames is going to tear up a shirt or two. ]

No, the stables are good. I'll just meet you there.

[Once he tears up some cloth and wraps them around his hands he's off to the stables. It isn't boxing tape but it'll work for now.]

[ Boxing. Eames hasn't done it properly in a small while, but considering he was part of the SAS he's fairly confidant he'll be able to hold his own. That doesn't mean he wants to assume he'll win of course.

He's dressed of course for movement rather than appearance now.

When he spots the only other man with wrapped knuckles, he raises a hand with a grin.

Did you expect your opponent to be so short? ]

Unless I've stumbled into a boxing ring, I assume you're the shadowboxer.

[Zachariah is dressed the same as when he showed up here, although he's left his tool belt and pistol behind. His outfit might be a little more restrictive than what he normally boxes in but he's not willing to show a lot of skin. The man has a lot of scars and he doesn't like showing them off.

When he sees Eames already there, Zachariah waves and jogs up to the stables. The other man might be a couple inches shorter but he's certainly stockier than Zachariah. That doesn't bother him in the least though. He's just happy to have someone to box with since he doesn't have Iriel anymore.]

Yeah that'd be me. You're Eames right?

[Excite excite excite.]

[ Eames' outfit isn't what he'd want to box in, but breeches and loose shirt will work better than nothing. He has his own share of scars - and tattoos - but far less aversion to showing them off.

Besides, at first, he needs to get a feel for how Zachariah fights. ]

[ Journals are wonderful things. He extends a hand to shake. ]

[Zachariah blinks in surprise before shaking the man's hand with some hesitation. Paranoia is go as he thinks how Eames figured out what his name was. Then it hits him. He's been giving out his name over the journals. Maybe he should start being more careful, especially since he doesn't know who he can trust here.]

Uh yeah, you hit the nail on the head.

[He smiles but it's a tad nervous.]

[ Eames notices the slight hesitancy and smiles in response, even if Zachariah's nervous. ]

Hard not to notice these things on those journals. The first time I wrote here, the thing signed my own name, you know. Bloody damning.

[ He steps back, shrugs his shoulders before he gestures to the stables and then turns to head inside. ]

I figure setting ground rules is good - I don't know if they're the same where you're from.

Guess that does make introductions easier huh?

[That doesn't make him any less nervous though. If Gerard's people show up here he's as good as dead.]

Ground rules, right. We need those. Um, we can try going for a minute round and see where things go from there?

[Zachariah knows he can do that easily but he's not too sure about this guy. For all he knows this guy could just be an amateur or something.]
