They Might Be Giants at House of Blues
So, last night, we went to the House of Blues and saw They Might Be Giants perform. The opening act was a band called Oppenheimer.
I had heard of Oppenheimer, but I hadn't actually heard their music until last night. They weren't too bad. They're kind of an indie pop/rock/electronica band. It's a two man band and they pull off some impressive stuff.
Next on the bill was the main act, They Might Be Giants. The show was completely an utterly awesome in the nerdiest/geekiest way! =) They played a bit of class TMBG songs intermixed with new stuff. It was all freaking awesome.
I tried to capture the moment as best as I could with my camera. I uploaded the pics to Flickr. On Sunday, when we go see Flogging Molly, I plan on getting up closer to the stage, so hopefully I'll get some better pics to share with everyone.
