So. RL. Um...
Haven't had any big changes since I last posted (meaning February, not like...hours ago, although not much HAS changed in the last few hours, either). Still working the same retail job, still making goblin noises on the drive to work, still trying to find/choose/stumbleupon somewhat of a career thingy.
Travelwise, I've been places. Went to VEGAS BABY at the end of March to hang with Kelly, spent very little money on food except for the awesome sushi splurge on the last night, won a bit of money, had a good amount of alcohol, and got to hang out with all the awesome people who awesome Kelly knows. Because she's awesome.
And I'm finally friends with a Canadian! \o/
The boys finally hit the road again, so I saw them mid-March (one day of which was spent at SXSW in Austin, where I also happened to find Steel Train boys), then in mid-April drove to Florida (17.5 hour drive with stops, pwning Google maps' estimate of 18 hours) IN ONE DAY to see Kelly and her girl Trista and a few more shows. Everyone thought I was crazy for doing the drive all at once. I probably was. Got to see the Atlantic Ocean and dip my feet in, go to Disney, experience a Florida typhoon, and find out how much tequila it takes to tolerate being in Ft. Lauderdale. Hung out (no pun intended) with a gay porn star and his boyfriend. Split the drive home into two days because I had promised a lot of people I would (I'm stubborn, but a woman of my word).
Am getting back into writing, maybe? I have a project I'm doing for Stephie but progress on it is a slug riding a turtle's back. Did some more photography projects here and there, including shooting my nephew dog in a patch of bluebonnets. You're never supposed to work with kids or animals, and he's both, so now I know why.
Biggest development I can talk about right now is my involvement in the Dallas Area Paranormal Society (DAPS). Paranormal investigating, ghost hunting, whatever you'd like to call it. I went to an investigative event down in San Antonio, run by Paralabs. There was some class and investigation both, and I ended up hanging with some DAPS members. Came back, went to their meet and greets, and am now in the beginning stages of becoming a training investigator with them. Get to go to an investigation down near Waxahachie where I'll do a good bit of learning. Can't wait!
Other than that, books to read, movies to see, Show to wrack my brain over, bitches to cut, etc.
