i know i am going to succeed
here are some things that are totally good ideas:
1. going to israel this summer to reward myself for making it through four semesters of hebrew. i will still not be able to speak a word of it. but it is still a totally good idea.
2. having Emma over to dinner once a week for the rest of my entire life. we discovered this to be a totally good idea back in sixth grade, and then we had to take a three year hiatus when i moved to the middle of fucking nowhere. now we've finally discovered a town that's big enough for the both of us, and i've learned how to cook. approximately.
3. hanging out with John Kerry tonight at the Hilton. a totally good idea because: a) bragging rights associated with hanging out with John Kerry, and b) there might be free hors d'oeuvres.
4. having my entire urinary tract removed from my body. a totally good idea because it will save me a thousand dollars a year in emergency room fees and antibiotics. i'm not kidding. and think about how much more you could do in a day if you didn't have to stop to pee.
