I have never understood the obsession with Vampintegra.

Because it's interesting to explore. Anime wise, specially, it's the only logical outcome to me. Manga wise, it's debatable since Alucard and Seras WANT her a vampire and she was teasing about it at the end.

Personally, I find interesting to explore what could leave Integra into that and what/how will be her emotional and state evolution. The challenge became different now Alucard is yet another type of vampire, one that is a "man" and not a "monster" like before.

I don't see it. The entire manga, when offered the chance to become a vampire, she's denied it visciously. And I do not think Alucard would do it, either - I think he teases about it, but he has such great respect for humans, and the beauty of old age, that I don't think he'd allow it to happen... not by his hand at least.

tl;dr: Vampintegra is completely and totally OOC, no matter which angle you use.

*facepalm*

Yes, because Seras, a FEMALE vampire can turn her into a vampire and not a GHOUL? Uh huh. Seras didn't offer, she was teasing Integra with her want to have her blood sucked by Alucard, hence why she cosplayed Alucard. Touched a sore spot, because Integral reacted a la tsundere to not joke about it and hitting her. All while she was anxious and stressed Alucard wasn't around after 30 years. When Alucard tried to bite her? She shot him but she didn't know it was him.

Her attitude about it changed completely when she realized Alucard returned and heard his explanation about what happened. What she offers to Alucard? Wasn't "drink" her blood, the kanji is to SUCK her blood (as in bite+suck) in the before last page, and Alucard jokes how hungry he is. Then she laments about her age and he says it's fine with him ( ... )

I know all that. Turns out, I've read a bit of hellsing in my time, yeah? But it's not an Integra thing to do. It's against her character, and her background, and shit, well, everything. I also don't find it an interesting topic to even think about, let alone explore, which is probably why I don't feel the need to justify the concept with Hirano's vague story telling.

No, it isn't. What character/what background? LOL, the only really deep relationships she has? With vampires. The "humans" in her life either betrayed her or died on her or aren't very close to her. So much for that, isn't it? So much that Integra doesn't regard Alucard or Seras as monsters unlike her enemies.

You are making Integra a two-dimensional character which she's not.

So yeah, it is an Integra thing to do, she's the master of her own life. She'll do whatever heck she wants and, according to Seras/Alucard's attitude AND Integra's own tease, she wants to be bitten/get her blood sucked by Alucard.

However, wherever if this is for real or will ever happen up to the readers.

Like I say, I favor the human!Integra thing but the vampire!Integra IF Alucard's vampirism is different (as I believe it is) is very likely too.

Yes, thank you! I thought that Integra would turn only by Alucard's hands and only when he become a "man"! Besides, I think Integra would be hot as a vampire even with the wrinkles. She still looked good in the last chapter. I hope I look half as good as she did when I am that age.

Exactly my thoughts. You can say she chose to stay human, or you can say she became a vampire.

It's an open ending, Hirano made it so.

THEN STOP FUCKING GOING ON ABOUT HOW LOGICAL IT IS AND THE ONLY WAY, IF IT'S AN OPEN ENDING

Did I say it was the only way in the Manga? No, I said it could be BOTH WAYS and that I prefer human!Integra, but it can be vampire!Integra and to some people (like me) it's interesting to explore that route in fanfiction.

It's not only interesting to explore in fanfiction, but it's also a challenge to roleplay a vampire Integra as well. I mean challenge in a good way btw. For the past two years of roleplaying her I always wondered how she would take the transformation, and how it would affect her thought process on her duty as well. I was given the chance, and I took it. The outcome for me is she is still the Integra we know after becoming a vampire. Just much more stronger, and deadly. She is still dedicated to protecting her country.
