Hellsing Coat of Arms
I'm designing a Van Helsing/Hellsing family coat of arms based on the one that appears in the manga/OVA, but far more elaborate and symbolic. The shield, of course, will be classically shaped and divided into four quarters, two sanguine (blood red) and two sable (black). In the bottom-right quarter (which will be sanguine), there will be a golden tower. The motto will be "We are on a mission from God". That's all I have, right now. I was thinking about a bat crest (since, in heraldry, bats represent awareness of the powers of darkness and chaos) mounted on either a peer's helmet or a knight's/baronet's helmet. I was also contemplating lion supporters (since, in heraldry, lions represent dauntless courage and are featured in the coats of arms of both England and the Netherlands), or human supporters (to stress the importance of humanity). I still can't decide on the right design or colors.
I'd like everything to be representative of something significant to the Van Helsing/Hellsing family.
Does anybody have any ideas? They'd be much appreciated.
