Still sick
So, I'm still sick. This marks day 10. I went to the school health clinic on Wednesday, but they were all like "oh, it's probably just a cold" and told me to drink gatorade and take advil. I really hate it when they tell you you have a cold...if I had a cold, do you really think I'd be seeking medical advice? I'd probably forgo the doctor's visit and just focus on...getting better. And I'd still be able to work, which I haven't been able to do all week.
But anyway. The fever's mostly down, at least in the mornings. At night it keeps creeping back up to 100, 101. The bigger issue now is the cough...it's really persistent and really nasty and makes my whole body hurt. I couldn't talk at all for three or four days...now I sort of have some voice, some of the time, which is nice.
I'm really worried about how taking two weeks off (one week for being sick and then I go on vacation Wednesday) is going to hurt me financially. I was already not doing so well money-wise, and there are a lot of things that I need to buy, like books for school and freaking dishes (I have a grand total of five bowls right now...even for me living by myself, that's not enough). I guess the good thing is that because I've been home sick, I haven't really spent any money...a little bit on juice and cat food and stuff at walmart the other day but that's it. So, for the moment anyway, my finances are staying right where they are :-b
