(no subject)
Blllaaahhh. Maybe I'm a bad person, but I really don't feel like working on my paper tonight. For once I started it more than 24 hours before it was due....so it shouldn't be too much of a sin to finish it within 3 hours of it being due.
Not like the one last week: paper was due at 9:00 AM. I started it at 7:00 AM. Hmm.
For the record, though, my midterm grades thus far are all A's.
In other news, part of the reason I don't want to work on the paper is that I just got out of work-work at 9 (and didn't get home till about 10). Yeah, wal mart's making me work one night a week now...just to make sure I don't start to like my job too much. This isn't totally sarcastic - I do like my job for the most part. Mostly because I get to goof off with cool people. I brought in CUPCAKES today (and a couple days ago...same batch). I owed them to a couple people...like the guy who always brings me cookies and the guy who helped me snag a Wii.
Yeah! I got John a wii for...well...being good, I guess. I meant to get him one for Christmas, but even when I waited in line out in the cold, I missed out by two people :( BUT, a couple days before he came home the last time, and after i'd pretty much given up on getting one, one of the guys who works in electronics and who i'd been bugging to let me know when they came in told me they'd gotten some. I was psyched and bought one. Immediately. And then had to figure out what to do with it since i still had two hours left to work.
So, when my wunnerful husband came home, he got a surprise wii. (and he got his butt beat in bowling a couple times).
Since it's been so long since I last updated...if anyone doesn't know...we got a cat. Her name is Cat Food Breath. And at the moment, she is pretending to be dead.
Pretending, unlike the poor kitty I squished with my car the other day. :( Our cat is definitely staying an indoor cat. We've had too many pet mishaps this year...obi getting hit by the UPS truck, having to put Annie to sleep, the gecko dying, the parakeet keeling over...yeah. the cat is staying inside.
Spring break is next week. It should be better-than-bad.
