i love that view

so the show was tonight.. and what a beautiful show it was. we had 150 people say they were there for us at the door.. and we all rocked out. the show itself went really well... it took me a while to realize that. i was really really really bummed afterwards because for the last part of our last song my guitar was really out of tune.. i should've heard it earlier. ernie kept running into my guitar and it just knocked the knobs. and it was the most important part of our best song.. so it kinda just shot the morale down. but if we people stop liking us because my guitar was out of tune for the last 30 seconds of tears came falling then so be it. i think the overall show was really good and we already made a strong impression... and that's what matters. next time we play at chain ::cough december 18th cough:: we'll rock it even harder and i'll keep my guitar in tune. i wonder if that show will sell out. with nightfall, yesterdays rising, odd project, us, and the caffiends.. i think it'll definitely pull a good draw..

the crowd was super into it. no one in our band knew if we were actually going to play tonight.. we were all just hoping for the best. ronnie (the drummer) bruised a muscle in his back and was bed-ridden for most of today and all of yesterday. but he pulled through like a champ.

i can't wait for our cd release...2/17/04

i'd just like to say thanks to everyone that came and and showed their support.. you're all so nice to us. it makes me feel good and you make our lives work. i love you.

afterwards me, randy, and marin got dennys.. i had a salad, a coffee, and homefries. they were good. i told funny tour stories. mostly about poo face and ronnies crazy adventures of getting us lost. and also the story of why shes called poo face. which is a funny story. at the moment it was a bad situation, but now its just hilarious.

i have to take my mom to the airport in an hour and half.. 4 am. that's gonna be fun. i got a new car. a 94 ford taurus. it smells like a motel 6 and it's teal. i join shaun randle in the teal car club. hoorah, hoorah.

cheers.
