Actually, come to think of it, I'm the same way with my name. Only my siblings use shortened versions of my name, everyone else uses the full version. My bestfriend used to refuse to shorten my name even when I told him that he could, he said it just didn't feel right...I think it does have to do with respect on some levels, because if there's one thing I can say about my bestfriend, he's EXTREMELY respectful. That being said, he has invented all sorts of nicknames for me to use instead, and he'll occasionally use a shortened version, but not the same one my family uses.

I would also be scared for Sam if he went on a killing rampage.

I can't believe I forgot to write about the reunion scene in Shadow. Falling down on the long-winded job, I am. It was well done...just like you said...that show knows how to pack a lot in very few lines.

I suppose you could be right about the line in Hell House. That maybe the guy was just picked up by Jensen's mic, and the sound editing guy didn't realize it wasn't supposed to be in there. In any case, there's supposedly an episode where Jensen calls Sam, Jared. I can't remember which one now, but I've heard some people say that they've corrected it for the DVDs and it's no longer there anymore. I'm keeping an ear out. Have you come across that one yet?

Hmm, no I haven't seen it yet. But I also could have just missed it. I'm usually not that observant. ^^;

Oh hey! It's actually in Provenance. I had to go and look it up :P But it's there, clear as day when you know to listen for it. Dean says "Jared, check it out..." when they are discovering the ways the painting has changed. Man, crazy no one noticed that...though, I suppose I watched this episode twice, and I didn't notice.

Ooooh yeah, you're right, he does! But it's not that noticeable since he mumbles it half under his breath. It sounds like Ja-mmmm. Like a cross between Jared and Sam. hehehe.

What's funny is that Jared responds and doesn't even notice that he's done it!

Yeah, I wonder if it's just because Jared was focusing on his next line, or the fact that he had to take the paper from Jensen, or what...it's amazing no one noticed. I think it comes across pretty clear on my copy, but then I listened to it on headphones, so everything comes across pretty clearly.

I love little mistakes like that every once in a while. I know it breaks the illusion, but I think it's cool.

I love little mistakes too. It's not like the illusion is really that great. I rarely forget they are Jensen and Jared, too.

Rick said the same thing. He was like yeah, Jared probably wasn't even listening to Jensen, he was just waiting for him to stop talking so he could say his lines. lol!
