Timeline: S8 - S9

SEASON 8

NOTE: In S8 there is another one year time jump. Much like S6, the Supernatural team has not actually skipped a year chronologically, even though they’ve skipped a year in the narrative. So, if you want the dates to be in chronological time, you will have to add 2 years to all dates listed. Any date marked with two asterisks ** need only ( Read more... )

The Impala, complete with cloaking device, has now been given a warp drive. Amazing things are just lying around in storerooms at the batcave. :-)

Your persistence in trying to impose logic on the chaos TPTB have allowed the timeline to become inspires much respect--most anyone else would have thrown their hands up in despair by now!

Gee, I have to admire you and all the time you've spent trying to make sense of the timeline for this show! Between stints in Hell and Purgatory and time travel and God knows what else, I think maybe the boys are really almost as old as Dr Who by now, ha; I gave up long ago on trying to keep track of what year it should really be in Supernatural Land.

Haha, when in doubt, just do what the writers do and use the current year. :P

I have a lot of fun doing the timeline - I think part of that though is my ability to just let things go. "Oh, you skipped a year without skipping a year - okay." "Oh, you made a 12 hour drive in 20 minutes? Sure..."

It's sort of like coming home to find your three year-old drawing on the walls, and, instead of getting angry, you just buy throw pillows to tie in the colour to the rest of the decor. :P
