I think it's kind of a "thing" in science fiction/fantasy that creativity is uniquely a human trait.

It may have just been that Sera had too many threads going, and she couldn't wrap them all up in the end.
I think that might be Sera's achilles-heel right there. She had a similar problem in S6... which is kind of funny, because I think Kripke may have had the opposite problem, where he always had too few threads.
I'm not sure we're seeing real Bobby anyway...becoming a ghost takes away something indefinable from the human...maybe the same thing that allows creativity? Now THAT would have been something to follow up on!
Exactly! I would have been much happier this season, I think, if the writers had focused on continuing their exploration of the human soul. Then Bobby's ghost-status would have been written clearer with a marked intent or something... I just kind of think he was all over the map, and yes, we can rationalize it as fans, but it was never explained well enough in the show. But that's just my opinion, and I'm obviously in the camp that believes that Bobby should have RIP to begin with.
