Can someone tell me what this t-shirt says?

Hello,

Can someone tell me what Dean's t-shirt says? All I can read is "Speed Racing" - I'm wondering if it's some sort of recognizable logo and someone could give me a hand with it.

No problem. :)
Didn't have any trouble finding it. Took me barely 2 minutes.

Oh, I totally forgot about that shirt! How awesome is it that the only time Dean wears logo/band shirts is when he's fixing a car? I'm not sure why that makes me happy, but it does!

He also wore one in the AU'Titanic episode, I think - but I have to double check that.

But yeah! It makes me happy to see Dean in shirts with logos on them - I don't even know why. Technically, it makes my life more difficult.

OMG - he was wearing this in 7x01! At the beginning he's wearing an Eye Of the Tiger Shirt - but I think later we see him in this one (when he and Sam work on the car and they hear about the motivational speakers being killed)

I think you've infected me with your obsession!

Haha, welcome to my hell ;) Once you start noticing...

When I was watching 7x01 and Dean wore his Red Plaid Shirt of Angst, I had my friend pause the video and I said "That's his Red Plaid Shirt of Angst! We haven't seen it since the premiere of season 5, and even then it was just in his duffle!" Then I looked over and my friend's husband is giving me the *you are crazy* look. :P

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! And sorry for infecting you with the disease!! I have a hard time turning it off myself - and I notice things on FIRST watches (most of the time.)

Luckily, I don't have the same memory for other shows, so although I notice their clothes, I don't sit there thinking "oh right, and that's the same shirt he wore in that other episode...and that time that blah blah..." :P

The whole "dry lake speed racing" always makes me think of the urban legend about a guy who strapped a jet assist takeoff engine to the top of his '67 Chevy Impala. He supposedly got it airborne. The Mythbusters tried to repeat the experiment but they had to use a '66. I figure all the '67's are on the backlot in Vancouver. The urban legend even won a Darwin award which you can read at http://www.darwinawards.com/darwin/darwin1995-04.html

I don't know if Dean would approve or not....

Haha, I think Dean would be horrified if anything happened to the car :P

I do wonder how many '67 Impalas are out there...and what percentage of them are in Vancouver.
