My 8 days of comment-fic has drawn to a close, and there were three that I didn't get to. One I really wanted to do, but it would have required much more time than I had to do properly - and I didn't want to do it improperly.
The other two I just failed to come up with anything that I particularly liked. That's not a reflection on the quality of the prompts - it's a reflection on the quality of my brain.
So, you can scroll down two entries on my journal and read the prompts I did respond to - but I'll also be tidying a couple of them up and posting them properly in the next few days too.
Thank you to everyone who left prompts, and my apologies to those who didn't get their prompts answered - I will endeavour not to fail you again in the future.
In other news, I've got to work overtime for the rest of the month (boo)...but on the plus side, I may have discovered a way to ease myself out of my hated job and into something that pays just as well and also gives me plenty of free time for writing. So, let's all keep our fingers crossed that I can pull it off sometime in the months to come.
P.S. Sorry, for the weird subject line - I just love that title, and couldn't resist using it...it's a book of short-stories by Joey Comeau, if anyone is wondering.
