Dean's Green Lightweight Jacket

Much like Dean’s Blue Lightweight Jacket, this green version is really just a heavy shirt that Dean uses as a jacket from time to time. It’s sometimes hard to distinguish from its blue brother, but it plays much lighter to camera. I call it green, but it’s a very grey green.

Brand Information: Wind River. (discontinued model)

APPEARANCES:

In Phantom Traveler (1x04), Dean wears it after changing out of the suit, and while he is on the plane. He changes out of it before saying goodbye to Jerry though.

In Asylum (1x10), Dean wears it from his arrival in Rockford onward, but of course isn't wearing it in the final scene in the episode when he is in bed. It may, or may not, have sustained minor rock-salt damage during the episode. I believe the t-shirt (and poor Dean) got the brunt of the attack though.

In Faith (1x12), Dean is wearing it when he is electrocuted at the beginning of the episode.

Dean wears it throughout Shadow (1x16), once he changes out of the costume at the beginning. He only takes it off when it is just him (or him and Sam) in the motel room.

In Everybody Loves a Clown (2x02), Dean wears it while they are at the circus. He takes it off briefly and replaces it with the orange jacket of the circus-worker universe while they scope out the place, but then switches back to the Green Jacket when it’s time to hunt the homicidal phantom clown. He leaves it on until the clown is dead.

In No Exit (2x06), Dean is wearing at the Roadhouse in the beginning of the episode and when he gets to Philadelphia. He takes it off after Jo rents the apartment, but wears it again after the second kidnapping and while they search the walls and then rescue Jo. He’s switched to his leather jacket by the time we see him driving back to the Roadhouse.

In Hollywood Babylon (2x18), Dean wears it from the beginning of the episode until the Exec is hung from the rafters. He wears it again after the second death (guy thrown into giant fan) until the case is solved. We then see him putting on this coat as he exits Tara Benchley’s trailer at the very end of the episode.

In What Is And What Should Never Be (2x20), Dean is wearing it when he is attacked by the Djinn - which means he is still wearing when Sam rescues him. He changes before the final scene of the episode, however.

In Dream A Little Dream Of Me (3x10), Dean wears it from the beginning of the episode until after Sam finds the information about the dream root and they decide to contact Bella (except when he briefly wears a suit). He takes it off when they are just hanging around the motel room, and when they do the dream-walking, but puts it on again to go visit the newly awakened Bobby in the hospital. He keeps it on for the two days that he stays awake, and both he and his double are wearing it in his dream. He changes out of it after he wakes up.

In Ghostfacers (3x13), Dean wears it for the duration of his time in the Morton House.

In Wishful Thinking (4x08), Dean is wearing it upon arrival in Concrete, WA. He does not wear it when inside the hotel room, but otherwise wears it for the entire episode.

In Family Remains (4x11), Dean wears it from the beginning of the episode until after they save the family (with a brief suit break when they interview the housekeeper).

In Sex and Violence (4x14), Dean wears it after the second murder of the episode (the guy killing his mother) whenever he is not wearing suit. He changes out of it after the Siren dies.

In Death Takes a Holiday (4x15), Dean wears it to go get Pamela and then keeps it on for the rest of the episode.

In Jump The Shark (4x19), Dean wears it from when they meet Adam in the diner until they go to their motel. He does not wear it inside the motel room. He wears a suit for a few scenes, but then is back in the coat when he and Sam take Adam shooting. He keeps it on until he dispatches the ghouls and saves Sam.

In Good God Y’all (5x02), Dean wears it when he and Sam part ways at the scenic lookout.

In I Believe the Children Are Our Future (5x06), Dean wears it to go visit the joke shop, and then to the hospital to check out the guy who had his teeth pulled and the other odd occurrences in town. He wears it again at the end of the episode when he and Sam rush over to Jesse’s house to find Castiel.

In Changing Channels (5x08), Dean is wearing it when he and Sam bump into each other during the opening theme song.

In Sam, Interrupted (5x11), Dean wears it to the interview at the Psychiatric Hospital. Once he is admitted, they force him to wear scrubs.

In Dark Side of the Moon (5x16), Dean puts it on after he calls Cas once he is resurrected.

In The Devil You Know (5x20), Dean wears it for the entire episode.

In All Dogs Go To Heaven (6x08), Dean wears it when he and Sam talk at the picnic bench at the very end of the episode.

In The French Mistake (6x15), Dean wears it for the entire episode. Only taking it off when he and Sam are in Meta!Jared’s office, and then Dean crashes on the couch.

In Frontierland (6x18), Dean is wearing this coat when he returns from the Western-gear store with their costumes.

In Defending Your Life (7x04), Dean wears this coat while talking to Sam next to the Impala in the final scene of the episode.

In Slash Fiction (7x06), Dean wears this coat at the end of the episode when Sam decides to leave.

In Repo Man (7x15), Dean is wearing this coat during the flashback scene to “3 years ago.”

In What’s Up, Tiger Mommy? (8x02), Dean wears this coat for the entire episode, except for when he wears a suit (to interview officials, prisoners, and pawnshop employees). NOTE: The cut on the pocket is a LITTLE bit different.

In Blood Brother (8x05), Dean wears this coat for the entire episode.

In Devil May Care (9x02), Dean is wearing this coat when he and Sam bring Crowley to the bunker. He takes it off after they put Crowley in the dungeon. He wears it again later, when he and Sam go to rescue the hunters that Abaddon has captured, and then only takes it off after he’s had his talk with Kevin upon their return.

In Fan Fiction (10x05), Dean wears this coat from the performance of the play until the end of the episode.

In Don’t You Forget About Me (11x12), Dean wears this coat at the beginning of the episode when he comes back to the bunker with take-out. He wears it again at the end of the episode when he and Sam say goodbye to Jody and the girls.

In Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell (12x15), Dean is wearing this shirt at the beginning of the episode when he and Sam get back from their long string of hunts and Dean is very very dirty.

FATE: It may have sustained minor rock-salt damage during Asylum (1x10). It survived the Daeva attack in Shadow (Dean must have amazing secrets of blood-stain removal.)

In Dream a Little Dream of Me (3x10), you can see that the bottom of the left sleeve has been visibly torn and mended:

In Family Remains (4x11), it gets bloodstained.

In Sex and Violence (4x14), Bobby stabs Dean’s right bicep while he is wearing the coat.

In Sam, Interrupted (5x11), Dean has to wear scrubs once he is admitted to the hospital. When they escape, they are still wearing scrubs...so, you have to wonder where exactly his clothes are at that point.

In Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell (12x15), this jacket has gotten very filthy after Dean wears it during an implied two full weeks of solid hunting:
