Cloud had left the showers with the intention of sitting completely alone. He had had enough socializing for the day dealing with Yuuri's little possessive friend. He hadn't been that tired out arguing and ignoring someone yelling at him since he was having to deal with Barret in a argument over where Marlene should stay after they had finished up

It was probably lucky for all parties involved that, somewhere along the line, he was turned around and confused as to where he should go. Of course, he wasn't going to ask anyone for directions (as flowery and beautiful as he was, he was still a man, dammit), and instead ambled in what could be considered a pointless stalk -- stomping this way and slamming that way.

Touch what was his? "I don't know what you're talking about," the blond spat, only a key more polite to this one than the rest of them. There was something unsettling and yet familiar about the way this one carried himself, as if he was born and bred for war, nurtured by it as most were by milk and mothers. Still, Wolfram wasn't about to go scraping or anything to that effect. "I can't imagine how," he began, turning to leave again, "but you've gotten the wrong person."

Sephiroth felt his eyes narrow at the rough words thrown in his direction, but his expression hardly shifted outside of that. He had dealt with far worse than this parasite could dish out at him, but even despite this, Sephiroth would hardly stand by while his authority was being challenged in such a way.
His left hand snapped out to grasp tightly at the retreating blonde's wrist. There had been a desire to do far worse than that, but he had made a promise, and it was one he would attempt to keep, "Oh I hardly think I've got the wrong person," There wasn't anything comforting in the chuckle he sounded, and after leaning his face in closer, Sephiroth smoothly said, "I did, after all, see that mark you left on my companion's face."

He wasn't, of course.
"Then perhaps," he snapped, and though he wasn't sure what to make of the ghostly spectre of a man in front of him, his tone was laced with venomous contempt, "you ought to keep better watch of him! Unless letting a pet drool over what isn't his is tradition in this place?" Wolfram's wrist twitched in Sephiroth's hand, feeling for the kink in his fingers, a way that he could break free from the hold.

"I hardly need to concern myself in what he desires throughout the day," He tugged harshly on the wrist in his grasp despite the pain from his injury. Bringing up his right hand to grasp at this parasite's chin, Sephiroth's gaze promised death as he gave one single warning, "Touch him again, and I will show you what true fear is about."

"Unhand me," he snarled, like a cornered tiger rearing its claws. There was a moment of time in which he told himself that he had nothing to be afraid of from Sephiroth, but he hated the hold that he had on Wolfram's wrists. Such things could be broken, but he was worried about who would act faster. "I said let me go!" he screamed, feral, though he didn't make an effort to pull away yet.

Sephiroth would take great pleasure in watching the life slip out of this one's eyes, but he forced himself to release his hold. Pushing to shove the blonde fool away from him, the ex-General growl, "I will not warn you again."

Wolfram knew that he was ill-equipped to deal with the situation here, but he promised himself that it would not be that way forever. Rather than fight now, he had to watch this one, make sure that he didn't attempt anything similar with Yuuri.
Yuuri -- and a knot formed in the pit of his stomach, the sort that was best unraveled with screaming and violence. Even striking Cloud earlier hadn't quite lessened the anguish that he'd felt at seeing Yuuri skirt off with another girl, all happy embraces. Not that it was important in this situation; Wolfram continued to try to hold Sephiroth's glare, finally speaking, willing himself not to press his fingers to his throat or gasp too much of the blessed air that he had missed ( ... )

Yet when the threat was returned in his direction, a slender brow rose up as he tilted his head back ever-so-subtly, "The presence of parasites holds no interest me," Sephiroth smoothly spoke before glancing away from the blonde dismissively. He had said what needed to have been said, and there was little point in remaining if this one was going to cease encroaching on his territory.

"But if you're the biggest thing around here . . ." Wolfram studied the man's posture, his hands, even the arch of his neck. His intentions trailed there, as assured as he was that they were well-communicated between the two of them. Wolfram, for all of his squalling, wasn't really one for words and tactical conversation.

Cat-like eyes slid back to regard the parasite as he quietly assessed what had been spoken, "Oh?" Turning his attention back onto the blonde, he felt a dark chuckle bubbling up as a slender brow rose up questionable, "But what?"

"It goes without saying that for now we ought to refrain, as we both have something to protect," Wolfram began, trying not to let his eyes trail to Yuuri. "But when the time comes, you'll be the one in need of protecting." Wolfram's stare was hard, as if he was trying to see through the man.

He had made that promise, after all.
"You would do well to follow your own advice," Sephiroth warned before his attention slid back over to regard the blonde. He stood there quietly for a moment before the darkness seemed to slip back into his voice, "Pray that we do not meet at night."
There would be no hesitation in killing this parasite.

"Sorry to disappoint," he sniffed, turning his face away from the silver-haired man. "When the time comes, I hope that we do." Wolfram wasn't exactly comfortable fighting without a sword, but he'd never lost a fistfight that he could remember and there were ways around it. He hoped, anyway. The fact of the matter was that Wolfram wouldn't be able to rest until he and Sephiroth went out in a proper excursion. Something about it just made much more sense to him, and he didn't show any shame or fear for it.

Until then, though, he wouldn't waste his breath on someone so beneath his notice. Besides, he had far more important things to worry over than this insect.
Pulling away, Sephiroth began moving deeper into the cafeteria.
