Sephiroth had fought in his cell the moment the guards had come in to retrive him at the end of the night. He cared nothing for his own injuries, but the fact that they were taking away that which was his had brought forth the ex-General's rage. He'd violently reacted to the threat, and no sooner had he done that, the guards had activated his collar until he had blacked out from the pain.
They'd patched up his injuries and cleaned his body in the process before the dressed Sephiroth in another jumpsuit, and had dragged him back to his cell. He hadn't gone to the showers, but had remained seated quietly in his cell while all the other prisoners had moved on out. There had been no denying the reactivation of Jenova cells elsewhere within the prison. Sephiroth had felt it during his short stay in the infirmary. Cloud obviously hadn't been awake at the time, but had been shortly after the showers were announced. He'd heard the call, but despite the knowledge of who it was from, Sephiroth never once responded.
His cat-like eyes remained devoid of emotion as the PA system activated, and after flicking his attention towards the speaker, he remained passively seated on the edge of his bunk.
Sephiroth knew that Cloud was back alive again, and knew it should have brought some feeling of contentment, but as it was he simply felt nothing but a blank void in its place. He'd asked Cloud not to leave... downright begged him... but just like him, Cloud had simply smiled at him and slipped from his grasp. Sephiroth knew that Cloud's death had been due to his own short coming, but even despite knowing this, Sephiroth couldn't help but feel as though there should be some form of anger within. Yet his system had been entirely overtaxed by the tidal wave of emotions that had stormed through his mind, and he'd done the only thing that he could do: he shut himself down.
Perhaps having someone in his life was never meant to be? It was a question that tormented his mind before Sephiroth forced himself up to stand.
His movements were automatic as he made his way out of his cell, down passed the showers and tower area, before he silently entered into the cafeteria. Those that stood in his way reacted naturally to quickly remove themselves from his path, but gave the ex-General odd glances when they received no warning growls of looks in return. Sephiroth never once noticed their glances, nor would he have cared if he had. Instead he found himself pausing as he reached one particular table a little further into the cafeteria. It merely took a single glance from his emotionless gaze to rid the table of its previous occupants, and without a single word, Sephiroth slipped himself into the seat.
