[She hasn't slept in twenty-four hours. Until now, she's been fine-- checking herself, trying to settle in, trying to work out where she was. But it's hit her.
Probably because she's been telling herself that she'd be able to contact the Normandy "tomorrow." And it's been one too many "tomorrow"s.
Her voice is breaking a bit, and she's trying very hard not to get upset. She's spent most of the last twelve hours trying to modify the technology, get a different frequency. Anything.
She knows it hasn't worked. But she can't help herself.]
